The Kochi-Muziris Biennale stems from the Venice and Havana Biennale, and began in India in the year 2012. I attended in December 2016 - March 2017, whilst working with the BM Anand Foundation. The Biennale itself was an incredible experience, in terms of organisation, and the positive impact it has on the Indian economy as well as providing cultural capital and promoting the arts. I would definitely love to go back, and if able, one day contribute and be one of the several supremely talented artists represented. Kochi itself is a magical town.

I would encourage anyone who gets the chance to visit both Kerala and the Biennale.
